Manage local bodies

Maintain the organisations that publish information and receive community messages.

Follow these steps

  1. From the left menu, select Local Bodies.

  2. Create a body or select an existing one.

  3. Enter its public name and correct contact email address.

  4. Upload its logo if one is available.

  5. Turn Published on when residents should see and contact the body.

  6. Save the changes.

What happens next

Published local bodies can appear as News publishers and contact choices. User permissions can also limit which bodies an Admin or Contributor may represent.

If something is not right

  • Confirm the organisation has agreed that its email address and logo may be used.
  • If a body is missing from a news form, check that it exists and is published.
