Download a copy of your community data
Create a portable archive of the information your community has added to Community Ready.
Follow these steps
From the left menu, select Data export. Only the Community Admin can open this page.
Read the privacy notice. The archive can contain names, contact details, support requests and internal audit information.
Select Download complete archive.
Save the dated JSON file in your community’s approved secure storage.
Share the file only with authorised people and delete working copies when they are no longer needed.
What happens next
The archive contains community settings, users and permissions, local bodies, all managed content, resident submissions, Community Support records and audit history. Passwords, notification tokens and individual device identifiers are excluded.
If something is not right
- If Data export is not visible, check that you are signed in as the Community Admin rather than an Admin or Contributor.
- Uploaded files are represented by their saved links; the file itself is not copied into the JSON archive.
